MANAGER – Delivery and Execution

Reporting to Director – Delivery and Execution
Key Responsibilities

Overall

  • Manage the company’s assets which are under construction and in operation
  • Construction/contract management of the projects under construction and contracts/asset management of the operational assets
  • Ensure the on time project delivery, safety at site, performance and financial returns for each asset
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive commercial/technical awareness of projects and drive the project/asset to achieve healthy financial performance
  • Set the key KPI for projects under construction and operational assets Construction Management
  • Adhere to project budgets and time lines
  • Ensure that all licensing, regulatory and contractual obligations are met
  • Develop and maintain relations with various stakeholders
  • Monitor Project Agreements (including PPA, EPC Contract, O&M Agreements, Fuel supply agreements etc, LTSA) in terms of deliverables and compliance
  • Monitor compliance to environmental requirements
  • Monitor compliance to highest safety standard

Asset Management

  • Assist with various performance reporting and forecasting;
    1. Take ownership of profit and loss for each asset

    2. Manage the budget

    3. Review and improve the systems, processes and procedures for better utilization/ to increase the returns.
  • Meet environment regulations
  • Ensure that a plant safety management system is in place

Additional

  • Provide periodical updates to the Executive Team
  • Engage with the project development team prior to taking over responsibility

Person Specification

Minimum Experience Requirements

  • At least 15 years in managing RE project development, construction and operations, strategic planning for capacity addition, negotiating deals, PP and EPC, general management, project financing, project management and budgetary oversight
  • Proven track record in the field of renewable energy development, execution and asset management with at least 5 years in a management position
Minimum Education Requirements
  • Masters in Business related subject
  • Technical educational qualification
  • Project Management certification
