Corporate Finance Associate – French Speaker

Reporting to Senior Manager Finance


Position Purpose

Support Corporate Functions: financial reporting, planning and analysis, budgeting and engaging in cost management

Support Project Control Functions: Contracts Execution, Treasury, Project Control & Planning


Financial Management and Reporting

  • Assist in enhancing analytical reporting processes (in excel & BI)
  • Analyze current and past financial data and performance
  • Prepare reports and projections based on the analysis
  • Communicate the insights of these reports to the wider business


  • Improve the financial and accounting system in Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Support in implementing new modules in Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Support in training and monitoring local teams on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (French Speaking countries)

Budget & Planning

  • Assist in the preparation of the budget exercise (Service Company, Project Company then Consolidate)
  • Assist in budget reports and system upload in ERP
  • Manage Actual comparison vs Budget
  • Manage project development expenses forecast in monthly basis


  • Supporting preparation of periodic financial statements and reports (Standalone & Consolidation)

Project Related tasks:

  • Support in Project Execution related to Financing Agreements compliance and execution, project agreements and construction agreements
  • Support in Project Control ( French Speaking Countries) with local teams coordination
  • Support in Project Treasury Management with local teams coordination,
  • Support Local project teams/advisors with Closing exercise and group reporting
Person Specification

Experience Requirements

  • Experience in project focused business
  • 3 / 5 years work experience
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor of Master related to Accounting / Finance / Economics
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification (must have)

Required Role Related/Technical Skills 

  • Accounting concepts and accounting standards under IFRS accounting standards
  • Accounting software Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • MS Office Suite (Particularly with Excel & PPT)
