AMEA POWER AT WORK

Solar Power Plant, Togo

In February 2020, AMEA Power launched the construction of the 50MW solar PV Project and delivered the project, within 18 months from the Power Purchase Agreement signing to Commercial Operate Date. In November 2022, AMEA Power announced that it would expand the capacity of its 50MW solar PV project to 70MW solar PV with 4MWh battery energy storage system. In February 2024, the 70MW and 4MWh solar PV project was commissioned, completed 3 months prior to the expected completion date.

Wind Farm, Jordan

Located in the Tafilah Governorate, the 51.75MW ‘Abour Power Wind Farm’, which has 15 turbines, was awarded under the first round feed-in tariff (FiT). The project has a 20-year offtake from the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) of Jordan. The project became fully operational in July 2021.

Solar Power Plant, Egypt

AMEA Power completed the construction of a 500MW solar PV plant in the Aswan Governorate, Egypt in December 2024. It is one of the largest solar PV plants on a single site in the country, and in Africa. AMEA Power is currently expanding the capacity of the project with the addition of a 300MWh BESS project.
